About Us

Filehurst Associates is a privately owned family business. John Blundell established the company in 1980 having worked in transport & warehouse management since 1964. The company started trading goods (machinery & food) to East Africa and arranging transportation & warehousing.

Then the company expanded by becoming the UK agent for two American toy companies, Tinkerbell Ltd and The Strombecker Corporation, importing their goods and providing all their warehouse facilities, packing & distribution needs.

In 2000 Filehurst expanded into archive storage and provides the service to many companies in the south east, including Eurotunnel.

At the same time Nicholas Blundell and Fiona Parton joined the company to help with the expanding business. John has now stepped down and Nicholas has taken over running the company.
